Porsche 911 SC 3.0 Gr. 4

For this project, we set an ambitious goal as we will be inspired by the cars driven by Jean-Pierre Nicolas, Jean-Luc Thérier and Guy Fréquelin at the end of the 80s. We will try to stay close to the original configuration, while adding a touch of modernism to improve safety and reliability. The work started on the body shell, but it remains about a year of work!

In the hands of an enthousiast of the brand of Stuttgart for years, this 964 is dedicated to the track days. For this use, the car has firmer suspentions, reinforced clutch and brakes, rollcage, bucket seats and harnesses. Recently, its owner left it to us on order to make a complete new paint. The body has been stripped off its engine to do the best paint job possible. After lots of hours of hard work, this 911 is now in “as new” condition. It’s ready again for the next 25 years !

Prepared regarding to the Group 4 regulations, this Escort MKII has the famous stripping of Hannu Mikkola’s car. Benefiting from an heavy preparation, the car has a 2 liter BDG engine prepared by Connaught Engine which produces 235 BHP, a ZF 5 speed gearbox and an atlas rear axle. Both axles have disc brakes and the car has carbon protections.

Porsche 911 3.0 SC

Fast and robust

Built new by Porsche as a 3.0 SC, this 911 has been restored in the early 2000s. At that time, it has been transformed into a Safari version like the cars which were raced in Africa during the seventies-eighties. This modification consists in the adoption of off-road suspensions, a raised ground clearance, a prepared engine and off-road tyres. Its last owner bought it to race at the Legend Boucles. In this way, MY Vintage overhauled the axles and lowered the body. Benefiting from the numerous contacts with specialists throughout the world, MY Vintage placed bespoke aluminium skis under the car. Since then, the car took part two times to the Legend Boucles.

Arrived in our workshop with an engine dismantled, this 3 liter Porsche 911 had a total rebuild.
